My name is Michael Kplus and this blog is my attempt to stop me (and hopefully others) shoving any more lemon halves, sprigs of herb bunches, smidgens of cream and many other leftovers to the back of the fridge where they are later rediscovered rotten and eventually transferred to the bin.
I would like to take you on this journey where I am trying to find inspiration in culinary remains, developing an appreciation of them and treating them with the respect typically reserved for any high-priced delicacy.
